Anne Black, Regional QA Specialist Pharmacist – North East and North Cumbria, based at Newcastle Hospitals, was designated as a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in November 2020. This honour, the highest that the Royal Pharmaceutical Society can bestow, recognises individuals who have attained distinction in their pharmacy career.

“Anne’s commitment to Quality in healthcare is exemplary. Anne’s specific interest, expertise and national influence in Advanced Therapies cannot be overstated. She has committed much time to this growing area of therapeutics supporting NA-ATTC and out of that leading the set up and running the Pan UK Pharmacy Working Group for ATMPs. By doing so, Anne is ensuring that all Pharmaceutical aspects relating to ATMPs are consistent UK wide, from both a technical and clinical point of view”.
