Dr Fiona Thistlethwaite, medical oncology consultant at the Christie hospital and iMATCH director presented at ESMO Immuno Oncology congress in Geneva on 13th December to an audience of around 1000 participants from across Europe and beyond. Dr Thistlethwaite was presenting a talk titled Adoptive Cell Therapy: New directions in CAR therapy. Not only was Dr Thistlethwaite discussing some of the new advances in CAR-T treatment but also introducing the audience to the ATTC programme and the iMATCH centre and what we are doing to develop and develop systems for the delivery of advanced therapies at scale, within Manchester and across the UK as a whole.
